I never really understood the phrase “I’m so busy I don’t have time to eat”. Food has always been a priority, and since having children, that hasn’t changed.
Here at Plan & Plate It, I want to teach others the secret to living a busy life and also providing home-cooked meals for yourself and your family. Between raising my infant twins, figuring out life in a new state, a few freelance writing jobs and teaching Pilates, I’ve got my plate full in more ways than one.
My secret is keeping things simple.
I use help from my favorite clean store-bought items – don’t worry I’ll do all the label reading for you.
Long ingredient lists are a no-go in my kitchen – I’m not into hunting for obscure spices.
While I love meal prep, I also love variety. You’ll see a mix of the two in our meal plans with a little bit of repetition to save time and money, but also tons of tasty unique meals so you won’t get bored.
Sacrificing taste is not an option – I’ve got two tiny taste testers and a husband, all of who let their preferences be known. I believe that food should not taste bland just because it’s healthy.
My black lab eats pretty much everything, so while we don’t go to her for recipe approval we highly recommend puppies for clean-up duties and minimizing food waste.
Born in New York, there will always be a special place in my heart and belly for a slice of greasy pizza, but I’ve made clean, whole foods that also taste delicious the cornerstone of my diet.
I want to share everything I do in my kitchen with YOU.
From recipes to meal plans to shopping lists, Plan & Plate It is meant to be a one-stop shop for foodies who are tight on time, energy, and brain power.
